What I Believe: I believe in the virgin birth of Jesus Christ. (Matthew 1:18-25) I believe in the vicarious death of Jesus. (II Corinthians 5:21) I believe in the verbal inspiration of the Scriptures. (II Timothy 3:16) I believe in the victorious resurrection of Jesus Christ. (I Corinthians 15) I believe in the pre-tribulation rapture. (I Thessalonians 4:13-18) I believe in the millennial, bodily return of the Lord Jesus. (Revelation 19) I believe in a literal Heaven with golden streets and gates of pearl for born-again Christians. (Revelation 21, 22) I believe in a literal Hell with fire and darkness, a place of torment for unbelievers. (Luke 16:19-31) I believe in separation from worldliness. (II Corinthians 6:14-18) I believe that the primary purpose of the local church is the winning of souls, and the discipling of converts. (Matthew 28:18-20) |
