I was born in Welch, West Virginia in 1948. I received the Lord Jesus Christ as my personal Savior in 1971. Although I was born into a "religious home", I never heard a plain presention of the gospel until a faithful student from Midwestern Baptist College presented the gospel to me that year. I was baptized and united with a local Baptist Church 2 weeks later. I have been in the ministry since 1978, started 2 Independant local Baptist Churches, and pastored a total of 8 years.
